Brand Overhaul of LapisLegacyMC (now LazurMC) and Other Changes

Brand Overhaul

The GluwdeGamer Team and The LazurMC Team (formerly The LapisLegacyMC Team) decided to give the brand a complete 'glow-up'. We've realised that the brand name is actually very long and is not something you'd like for a Minecraft YouTube channel to have that. So, we decided to look up synonyms and other names of Lapis, since its our core theme. We got many options, we felt 'LazurMC' to be cool. So, we decided to start the rebranding process. We also got a great idea that the face of our official skin should be the logo and the face of the brand. Please be informed, everything associated with LapisLegacyMC (now LazurMC) has undergone brand overhaul and other required changes. Now, we have a cool name, with a cool logo. And with this we expect a cool year ahead of us. Thank you for supporting us. Expecting a bright future for LazurMC.

The LazurMC Team, along with the Legal Team of GluwdeGamer, decided to issue a new copyright notice under the number 78900LRMC in response to the brand overhaul. The only changes that you'd see in the notice is the year of publication, which is 2026 only, and the copyright owner name, which is obviously LazurMC. Nothing else has been changed. If you're thinking about the terms which were revised on 2nd revision of the copyright notice of LapisLegacyMC (62302LLMC), they are included. This copyright notice will be effective from 17th February, 2026.

CurseForge Account Takedown

On the advice of the Legal Team of GluwdeGamer, we took down the official CurseForge account of LapisLegacyMC (now LazurMC). This is due to concerns of a confirmed breach of contract between LapisLegacyMC & GluwdeGamer and Overwolf Ltd. To avoid escalations over the present situation, we decided to take down the account. When we are confirmed that we do not breach the contract or are eligible to enter the contract, we will definitely open back our CurseForge account. LazurMC now does not cover CurseForge. All other platforms remain unaffected.
